Sometimes all a space needs is some re-arranging. But many times, starting fresh is a good plan ;).
Above: I truly love this emerald green velvet couch, so much so, that we purchases another one and have the pair facing each other in the family room by the fire place.
Below: The boat was desperate for a proper stand. My husband built a beautiful acrylic stand which allows the boat to truly shine as the surprising piece of art that it is. Although it is a beautiful antique, in Kerala these types of boats are still used for transportation. The chairs are antiques from Lyon, France. I felt they needed their own moment and they are brilliant in our primary bedroom.
